3D Modeling for Interiors, Exteriors, Products and Concepts
Sixteen modelling tasks across four disciplines, each delivered as accurate, editable geometry you can render, revise and build from.
Send us your floor plans, PDFs, DWG or point cloud, and you get a measured 3D model that holds up close, ready for renders, animation, BIM and planning. It stays editable, so a change of size, layout or finish is a quick edit, not a rebuild.
Interior Modelling
We start by setting the room out to scale, so walls, doors and furniture sit where they should (room layout and spatial planning). Every piece is modelled at its real size with proper joinery (furniture and joinery modelling), then finished with materials and lighting so it looks like a real room, not a flat drawing (materials, finishes and lighting). The model stays easy to change, so a different size or fabric later takes minutes, not a rebuild (clean, editable geometry).
Interior
Room Layout & Spatial Planning
Rooms set out to scale: walls, openings and furniture footprints placed before any detail.
Interior
Furniture & Joinery Modelling
Every furniture piece modelled on its own, with correct sizes, joinery and materials.
Interior
Materials, Finishes & Lighting
Surfaces, soft furnishings and light placed so the space reads warm and lived in.
Interior
Clean, Editable Geometry
Even topology you can revise late: swap a size or a fabric without rebuilding.
Exterior Modelling
We build the facade to your exact dimensions, with the cladding, glazing and balconies where the drawings put them, so it matches what goes to planning (facade and building envelope). The overall shape and roof are set out first, so you can check the form early (form and massing). Then the building gets its real setting, with paving, walls and planting (site, landscaping and context), on ground modelled with its slopes and levels so it sits properly on the plot (ground modelling and levels).
Exterior
Facade & Building Envelope
Cladding, glazing, reveals and balconies built to the drawn dimensions.
Exterior
Form & Massing
The building volume and roof form blocked out as clean geometry.
Exterior
Site, Landscaping & Context
Paving, walling, planting and surroundings modelled so the building sits in its site.
Exterior
Ground Modelling & Levels
Site levels, slopes and boundaries modelled as accurate ground geometry.
Product Modelling
Cabinets, fittings and products are modelled to match the real thing, ready to drop into a render or animation (hard-surface and carcass modelling), and built cleanly so they look sharp from any angle (mesh topology and retopology). Surfaces get realistic wood, fabric, metal and glass that catch light the right way (PBR materials and texturing), with every texture lined up so nothing looks stretched (UV layout and surface detail).
Product
Hard-Surface & Carcass Modelling
Cabinets and fittings modelled true to the drawings, ready to render or animate.
Product
Mesh Topology & Retopology
Clean, even quads that deform and subdivide without pinching.
Product
PBR Materials & Texturing
Physically based leather, fabric, timber and metal that catch light correctly.
Product
UV Layout & Surface Detail
Tidy UVs so grain, weave and wear sit straight across every surface.
Concept Development
Early on we work in simple blocks at the right height and footprint, so you can judge the shape and scale before committing (massing and volumetric studies) and compare options quickly (form-finding and iterations). We try the finishes together under real light to settle the look (material and mood exploration), and keep a rough version that fixes the proportions and where materials go before the detail starts (concept modelling and block-out).
Concept
Massing & Volumetric Studies
The scheme as solid blocks at true height and footprint, to read form and density.
Concept
Form-Finding & Iterations
Raw massing geometry you can push, pull and compare option by option.
Concept
Material & Mood Exploration
Marble, timber, fabric, concrete and metal studied together in real light.
Concept
Concept Modelling & Block-Out
Early block-out geometry that sets proportion and material zones before detail.
Architects, developers and homeowners come here when a render alone will not do: when the project needs accurate 3D models for planning submissions, marketing or fabrication. If that is you, this is the right service. Send us your plans, PDFs, DWG or point cloud and request a CGI quote to start.
Software and File Formats We Work In
We build BIM-ready Revit models at the level of detail (LOD) your project needs, and convert 2D to 3D from your floor plans, PDFs, DWG or point cloud. Whether you call it 3D modeling or modelling, the 3D model is the geometry your renders, animations and BIM are built on. See pricing.
Software we model in, and what each is for
What you send us, and what we hand back
You send us
- 2D floor plans, elevations and hand sketches
- PDF, DWG and DXF CAD files
- Point cloud scans from a site survey
We hand back
- Editable native models: RVT, SKP or 3ds Max scenes
- Exchange formats: IFC, OBJ and FBX for any pipeline
- Geometry that is layered, named and render-ready
3D Modeling Pricing, and What Drives the Cost
What you pay depends on the size of the job: how many rooms or floors, how much detail you need, the materials and lighting, and how many rounds of changes. The ranges below are typical, and the calculator gives a price for your exact project.
Basic Modeling
Single rooms or simple objects, kept straightforward
- One room or a single object
- Main furniture and fittings placed
- Standard materials and finishes
- 2 to 3 day turnaround
Professional Modeling
Full rooms or buildings with proper detail
- Several rooms or a whole building front
- Custom furniture, joinery and fittings
- High-quality materials and textures
- Lighting set up, ready to render
- 3 to 5 day turnaround
Complex Modeling
Whole buildings and large, detailed projects
- Full building or site, inside and out
- Fine architectural detail throughout
- Built for close-ups and animation
- Several rounds of changes and options
- 5 to 10 day turnaround
These ranges cover most jobs. Your price depends on the size, the detail and the number of changes, so for a figure for your exact project, use the price calculator or ask for a quote.
Why 3D Modeling is a Separate Service
Understanding the complexity and time investment in professional 3D modeling
The Reality of 3D Modeling
Creating accurate 3D models is a time-intensive process that requires specialized skills and attention to detail. Each project is unique and demands different levels of complexity.
Time Investment:
- • Simple room: 4-8 hours
- • Complete apartment: 16-40 hours
- • Detailed house: 40-80 hours
- • Complex commercial: 80+ hours
This is why modeling is priced separately from rendering or panorama services - the modeling phase often represents 60-70% of the total project time.
What We Need From You
Essential Documents:
- Floor plans with dimensions (PDF, DWG, or clear images)
- Elevations and sections (if available)
- Material specifications and finishes
- Reference images or mood boards
If You Don't Have Plans:
We can work from sketches, photos, or even rough measurements. Additional fees may apply for converting rough concepts into accurate 3D models.
